工業(yè)的葡萄糖有液體葡萄糖和固態(tài)葡萄糖兩種，固態(tài)葡萄糖為葡萄糖白色塊狀固體，味甜。固體≥80%,DE≥95，故稱為固體工業(yè)用葡萄糖。液態(tài)工業(yè)葡萄糖是葡萄糖的一種，其起源十分獨(dú)特。液態(tài)葡萄糖是通過淀粉不完全水解或酶法水解制成的。根據(jù)DE值的不同，淀粉糖漿可以分為高、中、低轉(zhuǎn)化糖漿，通常把DE值在30左右的轉(zhuǎn)化糖漿稱為液體葡萄糖，其中液體葡萄糖在工業(yè)上應(yīng)用為廣泛。

用于食品工業(yè)，因其能有效預(yù)防低鈉綜合征的發(fā)生，故可用作食品添加劑。葡萄糖酸和葡萄糖酸鉀具有很好的呈味閾。無刺激性，無苦澀味，鹽味質(zhì)接近食鹽，閾值比其它有機(jī)酸鹽高得多，是食鹽(無機(jī)鹽)的5倍，蘋果酸鈉的2.6倍，乳酸鈉的16.3倍。在食品加工中，葡萄糖酸鈉和葡萄糖酸鉀被用來調(diào)節(jié)pH值，改善食品的味覺，用來代替食鹽加工成健康的低鹽或無鹽(無氯化鈉)食品，對(duì)改善人類健康，豐富人民生活有很大作用。

在污水處理調(diào)試期內(nèi)，投加工葡萄糖等可作為碳源，以更好地培養(yǎng)細(xì)菌，提高污水的可再生性。如果系統(tǒng)中的COD,BOD不足以提供足夠的菌種生長(zhǎng)繁殖，則需要額外添加，以防止污泥老化和生物活性降低。
During the commissioning period of wastewater treatment, glucose can be used as carbon source to better cultivate bacteria and improve the regeneration of wastewater. If the COD and BOD in the system are not enough to provide enough bacteria for growth and reproduction, additional addition is needed to prevent sludge aging and biological activity reduction.
可直接應(yīng)用于食品、醫(yī)藥等行業(yè)，在印染、制革等行業(yè)作還原劑，在鏡業(yè)及熱水瓶膽鍍銀工藝中常用葡萄糖作為還原劑。工業(yè)也大量使用葡萄糖來構(gòu)成維生素C(抗壞血酸)。
It can be directly used in food, medicine and other industries, as a reducing agent in printing and dyeing, leather and other industries, and glucose is commonly used as a reducing agent in mirror industry and hot water bottle liner silver plating process. Glucose is also widely used in industry to form vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
